Government of Tamil Nadu Department of Technical Education (DOTE), Chennai admission to First Year Diploma Courses in Government Polytechnic Colleges 2011 – 2012 notification published on May 25, 2011. Application Form is intended for seeking Admission to First Year Diploma Courses (Full TIme & Part Time) offered in Government Polytechnic Colleges under the purview of the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai 600 025.
Application Fee: Rs.150/- Students get application from 25th May 2011 to 10th June 2011 upto 5:45 PM. Application Form available at All Tamilnadu Government Ploytechnic Colleges.
Govt Polytechnic Colleges Seats Allocation:
Seats in Diploma Courses in the Government Polytechnic Colleges are offered under the following categories:
* Seats under merit quota in Regular Diploma Courses.
* Seats in Sandwich Courses : 50% seats under merit quota and remaining 50% seats under sponsored quota.
* Seats offered under Multi Point Entry and Credit System (MPEC).
Qualification: A pass in the 10th Standard (SSLC) with 35 Marks in Examination or any other equivalent qualification.
Age Limit: No age limit.
