University Grants Commission (UGC) every year conducting National Eligibility Test (NET). UGC-NET 2011 to be held on 24th December, 2011 (Saturday). UGC-NET December 2011 notification will be published online on 26th September 2011. UGC-NET E-certificate will be provide within 6 days from result date. The UGC-NET result is usually declared in the month of April.
The National Educational Testing Bureau of University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts NET to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and research. The Test is conducted in Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Forensic Science, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science.
