TNTET Model Question Papers 2012 - TN TET Exam 2012 Syllabus and Model Questions

Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB), Government of Tamil Nadu first time conducting Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test (TNTET 2012) for the recruitment of Teachers in classes I to VIII. Eligible candidates are required to apply Online or by post from 22.03.2012 to 04.04.2012. The application Form with Prospectus (Rs.50/) available at the Office of the District Educational Officers. Recently, TRB has published TNTET Exam 2012 Model Question Papers and TET Syllabus of Paper I and Paper II.

Last Date for Receipt of Application: 04.04.2012 up to 5.30 p.m.
Date of Written Examination-Paper I: 03.06.2012 F.N.
Date of Written Examination-Paper-II: 03.06.2012 A.N.

Paper I (Classes I to V Teachers): Number of Questions 150 MCQs and the Duration of the Examination is 1 Hour and 30 Minutes. Child Development and Pedagogy - 30 Marks, Language I   (Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam/Kannada/Urdu) - 30 Marks, Language II (English) - 30, Mathematics - 30, Environmental Studies - 30.

Paper II (Classes VI to VIII Teachers): Number of Questions 150 MCQs and the Duration of the Examination is 1 Hour and 30 Minutes. Child Development and Pedagogy - 30 Marks, Language I   (Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam/Kannada/Urdu) - 30 Marks, Language II (English) - 30, Mathematics and Science Teacher / Social Studies Teacher / Any Other Teacher - 60.

Cutoff Marks: Candidates securing 60% and above in the TET tests will be issued a TET
Eligibility Certificate mentioning the language opted under Language I, which will be valid for 7 years from the date of issue of the certificate.
